This was a fun and relaxing weekend! Something that was much needed! NJ and her family came up Friday and just left today(Sunday). She taught me a new recipe that was sooooo good! We had sirloin and pasta with garlic bread. The pasta was seasoned with olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, and butter. Can you say uber delicious? Lol.
There's nothing like good food and spending time with friends!!!
I love God! I love my Husband! I love to laugh! I love my family & friends! I love life!!!

Thank Goodness!!
So I was talking to my friend NinahBee about how to cook lamb and whatnot. I kind of sort of hinted that it would be so much easier if she just came up for the weekend. Guess what? She and the family will be coming to town today to stay the weekend! Yay!!! Talk about right on time! I would've had that lamb all jacked up! LOL.
Thanks NJ(NinahBee)!!!

Even though this was a 4-day week for me, it went by so frickin' slow! Sheesh! I thought Friday would never get here!! Greg just emailed me asking if we can have lamb for dinner ::blank stare:: lol. So I do like lamb and probably have only had it like 4 times ever in life and just started eating it last year. Here's the issue I'm having. I have never cooked lamb before, so this is going to be very interesting!!! LOL
I will definitely be hitting up my friend NinahBee for assistance because I have no clue where to even begin!! Pictures will be posted this evening of the meal...pray my strength! ;-)

Yummy!!
I actually cooked something different for dinner last night! I didn't go grocery shopping, so I threw together what we had in the house. We had turkey legs, rice, steamed veggies, and garlic bread.
Side note: I wish we had a grill to smoke the turkey legs, but we gave our grill away a year ago when we moved because the townhouse management didn't allow charcoal grills. We have yet to get another one because my husband is dragging his feet about it, so I guess I will order one this weekend. Okay...I digress...LOL
None-the-less, I'm just glad I actually switched it up because anyone who knows me knows I don't really change up what I eat. See, I'm making progress Ninah Bee!!! LOL.
My.Own.Pace!!!

Changes...
As you can see, I have changed my blog name! Lol. I am just at the point where I don't want to keep up the Jones' and the pace that the world is forcing us to move at. I know what I want/need to do in life and how to get there. There is no written rule that says certain things have to be done within a certain time, or by a certain age. I say live life how you want. This doesn't mean you should break the law, nor should you ignore God's purpose for your life because we move at His pace and do things the way He wants us to. I am just simply tired of society as a whole and the direction it has taken.
